I am Jesper Winkelhorst a.k.a. JW LEGACY, an ambitious, enthusiastic & positive minded music producer from a small town in the eastern part of The Netherlands!

Ever since I was a kid, I've been passionate about music! I picked up the saxophone as my first instrument at the age of 10 and became pretty good at it, but after a few years I quit playing because I thought it wasn't cool enough. But now I know better! Being able to play an instrument is so much fun!

I first came in touch with Hiphop and R&B at the age of 12, where I fell in love with legends such as The Game, Lil Wayne, Kanye West, Chris Brown, Mario & T-Pain. Since then I have been a Hiphop head! I embrace both the old and the new, which helps me in developing my own sound, which I think is a mix of both the old school and the new school!

I am in my natural habitat when it comes to producing Urban music. I love making Boom Bap, Afrobeat, Hiphop & R&B. But i'm not discouraged to go into other genres! I just really love music in general!

I take my job very serious, so I will always do everything I can to achieve the best result! I am always busy 'sharpening my axe', whether it is workflow optimization, purchasing new plugins or gear, experimenting with new sounds or personal development, I never sit still! Every day I am working to become the man I desire to be!

I work hard because I want to win. There is no other option!

I really believe that my success is based on the success I have helped OTHERS achieve.
